Freight Forwarder in Karachi

Karachi is Pakistan’s main ocean gateway. Almost every FCL and LCL export from Punjab, and most commercial imports, eventually touches a Karachi Port Trust (KPT) terminal or Port Qasim Authority (PQA) berth. MTX’s head office on Shahrah-e-Faisal sits close to that corridor so operations, documentation, and carrier follow-ups stay in one place.

Shippers usually lose time on gate appointments, SI/VGM cut-offs, and mismatched commercial documents — not on the ocean leg itself. Our Karachi desk coordinates booking, inland trucking, CFS stuffing for LCL, and handover to licensed customs brokers for WeBOC Goods Declarations. We do not invent membership badges or licence numbers; what we publish is what we can execute from this office.

Whether you are moving cotton yarn to Europe, machinery into Port Qasim, or samples out of Karachi Airport (KHI), the same principle applies: lock the cut-off calendar early, keep invoice–packing list–B/L language aligned, and leave buffer for terminal congestion in peak weeks.

From Progressive Square we support port-to-port and door programmes across the Gulf, Far East, Europe, and North America. For inland factories, Karachi remains the consolidation and document control point even when cargo starts in Lahore, Faisalabad, or Sialkot.

Peak weeks reward shippers who treat Karachi as a system: carrier allocation, empty pickup, factory stuffing or CFS, weighbridge, gate appointment, SI, and WeBOC in one calendar. MTX head office keeps those handoffs visible so Punjab cargo and import deliveries share one accountable desk rather than a chain of unanswered WhatsApp threads.

FAQ — Karachi

Where is the MTX Karachi office?
Office #801-802, 8th Floor, Progressive Square, P.E.C.H.S. Block #6, Shahrah-e-Faisal, Karachi. Call +92 21 3430 4200-5 or email info@mtx.com.pk.
Do you handle both Karachi Port and Port Qasim?
Yes. We book and coordinate containers for KPT terminals (including SAPT, PICT, KGTL) and Port Qasim, then align haulage and document cut-offs for the terminal you actually sail from.
Can MTX file WeBOC Goods Declarations for us?
WeBOC filing is done by licensed customs brokers. MTX prepares commercial document packs, coordinates HS/description consistency, and works with brokers so GDs clear without avoidable holds.
What are typical cut-offs for Karachi export containers?
SI, VGM, and gate-in windows vary by carrier and terminal. Plan document cut-offs 24–48 hours before sailing and cargo gate-in earlier in peak season — see our SI/VGM guide on the blog.
Do you offer LCL from Karachi?
Yes. LCL cargo is usually stuffed at a CFS before gate-in. CFS cut-offs are often earlier than vessel cut-off, so factory despatch must leave buffer for weighing and sealing.
How do I get a quote from the Karachi desk?
Use the contact form or email info@mtx.com.pk with Incoterm, cargo-ready date, commodity, weight/volume, and origin/destination. Our operations team works Monday–Saturday.
